Daughter and I did this last July ....


Drove from SoPines straight thru to Medora, ND and Teddy Roosevelt NP for some camping and exploring for a few days, then down to Devil’s Tower, then over to the Black Hills of SD (SD also became my 50th State) for a few days for more camping, hiking, helicopter ride over Mt Rushmore, etc. then down to Steamboat Springs for 4 days for more hiking, visiting with old friends and showed my daughter our old house, etc. then Rocky Mountain National Park, and Estes Park for a couple days, followed by a couple days in Denver with friends. Then down to southern OK to look at a Patriot Camper Trailer (only dealer in US), but had a U-joint disintegrate passing through OK City - fortunately, able limp into an old high school buddy (retired FBI agent) o spend a couple days making repairs. Got it fixed, then off to Memphis for a couple days without being able to see the trailer 😳, then home. 17 States in just under 3 weeks.
