Looking back on the softball seeding, Duke lost to UGA in


two one-run games. UGA beat up UF, so I'd say UGA is playing pretty well now. Clemson got sent to Alabama, so Clemson did not even make it out of regionals. Tech got a pretty good regional, but the SR was kind of brutal I think (not to mention having to be out west for two straight weeks). Tech came up short by one game. I think without a doubt FSU ended up with the easiest path to WCWS out of the ACC, and they made it.

One other thing: I know Tech lost to Liberty, but I would have gladly traded Tech's path to the WCWS with JMU's. Maybe I am wrong. It is just my opinion.

Seeds matter. I guess that is obvious.
