For the season, KR has more than twice the innings of Garcia

Do you think KR might be a little sharper tonight if she has only pitched 110l innings like Garcia instead of 240 innings? Sandercock has just over 100 innings too.

To answer your question, it would not matter to me. Look at our series vs Longwood. It seemed on paper it was the perfect time to get our freshman pitchers more innings and to give KR a much needed rest. Instead, she went out and pitched the first game. And, you know, we might have lost that game is she had not pitched. (it was way closer than we thought it would be) But you take an unexpected loss or two to rest your star.

But take a few unnecessary starts all year long, it might make her a notch or two better tonight.

As of now (bottom of 4ht) she has given up 1 run. Not terrible - but not what she is clearly not herself.

Again, just the thoughts of a pitcher's dad. It may or may not be reality. I think Pete clearly has done a great job. I just disagree with his pitching rotation.
