I stayed at Mal Pais a couple years ago.

Took a puddle jumper from San Juan to the Pacific. Stayed just south of town and rented an ATV from my hotel to get around.

It was a laid back beach trip, so I didn’t do any of the rainforest or volcano excursions.

Food was excellent.
