That said, I don’t know if I see a need for a separate softball board personally. It’s awesome there is a lot of excitement with this year’s team and having a generational player (Tincher) play for your school has a long lasting impact as well, but it is the first super regional appearance (equivalent of sweet 16) for VT since 2008. Purely based on success on the field, men’s and women’s soccer have gotten farther in postseason play multiple times since softball was last at this point.

Ultimately, a dedicated board is more about having an established community and consistent interest from TSL members and I’m guessing Will is aware of the number of softball-focused posts and interest over the last several years- not just what happens to be our best year since 2008.
