I believe VT will be the home team on Saturday based on the fact that the Hokies have only been the home team once and BYU has been the home team twice.

If there is a second game - and let's not have one, they would switch roles in that game.

There are 5 umpires assigned to this region and there have been 5 games. Each umpires has worked every position and has had one game off.

If they "start over," then Steve Wilson would be at the plate for Game 1. He had the opening game between VT and BYU.

If that process hold and there is a game 2, then the home plate would be Jason Smith would had the fiasco of the ASU-Southern Illinois opening .game.
