While I was at the stadium tonight watching the ASU-BYU game, I went through and tried to update our Poppin' it challenge through the first two games.

As you would expect, the Hokies have made this thing a LOT of fun while raising dollars for the program. And personally, I will absolutely LOVE writing this check to the Hokie Club - Softball because it means the team is doing very well.

And Coach D'Amour got involved and committed that we will get Poppin's it car magnets to anyone who ends up with a $50+ donation at the end.

Everyone had the option to pick whatever metrics they wanted to use and while a couple of the metrics haven't had any action yet (like double plays), some of the others have more than made up for it.

For example, we have commitments adding up to $66 for each K. At the moment, VT has had 16 Ks so that's $1,056 to the program.

We have commitments of totaling $22 for every run. Hokies have scored 13 runs, that equals $286.

We have commitments of $55 for each HR so 3 HRs totals $165.

We have $22 per stolen base and our one SB equals $22.

We have a couple other categories and a couple of general donations that add up to $307.

So, after two games, softball fanbs on TSL are Poppin' It to the tune of $1,836>

Way to go, gang.

And we've only just begun!
