Taking a FORTRAN class in McBryde 100 was a special treat. I honestly could not understand a word my Statics professor and his two TAs said. Grad school was a much better experience. When my son was being recruited to the school where he is now, the first place he was taken was the ME Department Chair who had his resume memorized and told him he guaranteed if he did the work that he'd graduate on time with a 3.0 and that if he needed help, he would get it from him, not some TA. That has been his experience. Other than my advisor, I can't remember hardly any professor at VT give a crap about me personally.
