Fats Waller 1904
Tony Sheridan (singer/songwriter & early Beatles collaborator) 1940
Ronald Isley (Isley Brothers) 1941
Leo Sayer 1948
Marc Ribot (guitarist, solo & with Tom Waits, Elvis Costello, John Zorn & others) 1954
Kevin Shields (My Bloody Valentine) 1963
Notorious B.I.G. (1972)

Also an RIP - Roger Hawkins, drummer for the Swampers, studio band at Muscle Shoals in Alabama. Played on many 60s & 70s soul hits: Aretha Franklin "Respect," Otis Redding "Dock of the Bay," Staple Singers "I'll Take You There" among them. Died yesterday. Highly respected among drummers.
