I really hate busts like these


I know technically massage parlors like this are against the law. I suppose the impetus behind it is to stop human trafficking. But often to me these "raids" only end up publicly embarrassing and shaming both the prostitutes and the the client. I felt bad a few years back when one of our most notable QBs ended up with his name picture and address in the paper along with a bunch of other "Johns", for responding to a Craigslist add. I don't know. I suppose I am alright with making a bust and issuing a ticket. But for whatever reason I really don't like public shaming for misdemeanor sex crimes. I don't view horny or lonely guys the same as I do the degenerates on a show like to Catch a Predator.
