It seems like the better business decision was to pay off the hackers.

That said, if this escalates I anticipate the stories of fume asphyxiation, deadly car accidents, and explosive house fires to start trickling in.

People do not respect gasoline. They don't realize that rumbling under the hood is actually a series of controlled explosions and that 50 gallons of gas in their garage will blow the roof off their house if ignited....

They will soon. Especially the Dumb@$$ driving down the road will 250 gallons of gas in a cattle waterer. A small spark and he and everyone driving down the road with him are feeling the heat...
