I just finished a 3 day trip back from upstate NY.


No issues whatsoever although I about had a heart attack while going through Memphis- they just opened a new bridge (I think a few days ago) and today they found cracks in it and shut that deal down. Completely.

So I stop to get fuel and there are cars and semis EVERYWHERE. It was a complete clusterfork. I was was worried that it was a fuel thing. Whew! Turned out to be the bridge thing. I40 East was completely shut down and the locals were telling me it would be a 2 hour minimum workaround as the closest bridge across the Mississippi was 60 miles away. Probably longer than that getting through that tangled mass of vehicles.

But I was going west and was in the clear in just minutes. Dodged that bullet.
