This is what really irritates me about the fear mongering of the media. It actually sends some people into hysteria, which leads to dangerous stuff like this. I don't know if this poor woman was just panicked and was making irrational decisions, or if she seriously didn't know better, but either way, this is obviously extremely dangerous. And it would be great if the person filming had offered to educate her a little bit instead of filming her to create a viral video at the lady's expense.

I realize that it should be common sense that transporting gasoline in plastic bags is a terrible idea, but some people just aren't blessed with common sense. Our country would be a much better place if so much of our culture didn't revolve around benefitting from someone else's calamity and instead focused on helping people during tough times. Of course, there are probably plenty of heartwarming stories to be heard, but the media won't tell us about most of them...
