Camp I went to/worked at had a zipline into Lake Gaston

Part of their high adventure course. Zipline was about 480 feet long with a splashdown (more like skipping like a stone across the lake, you are tethered the entire time) into the lake. My last year camping and then working the summer, we would go down and then invert (ie head down/first). The water landing was a bit rough (dragged your head along the surface of the water for a bit), but man, what a ride down.

They put the kibosh on that a few years afterward. The rigs they use now have a chest harness that doesn't let you flip.
