It is a "suburban beach" south of VA Beach. It is very nice->


and where I went the whole time i was growing up. I haven;'t been in a while, but have a buddy who just moved down there and is building a home on the back bay side.Ocean on one side and Back Bay on the back side think it would make for a very nice vacation spot!

It isn't as commercialized as the NC beaches, and is more residential. That may be why you don't hear as much about it!
