Vikings had #14 pick and they wanted OT. But Jets traded up to #14.


It was looking like Vikings would pick Darrisaw at #14. But they took a chance and waited for their next pick at #23. Darrisaw fell in laps at #23. They were lucky he was still available. He was projected top 15 pick. Many NFL analysts picked him as #1 or #2 OT. Projected to be an immediate starter.
