They actually have a smart TV app now. You can access their programming


Plus any movies, series, etc you’ve purchased from iTunes without having a physical Apple TV device. I love that because we have a lot of stuff we’ve bought on iTunes over the years and we don’t need another streaming device connected to the TV in order to watch it. Plus I can use my TV remote which is a lot easier to use than the Apple TV remote.
