Historically, it is very, very close to the actual RPI which is published Monday.

Except for FSU, the top ACC teams have fallen due to nice schedule bumps this week by Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Arizona State.

Even if the Hokies had swept Georgia Tech, they would most likely still fallen, although the GT loss certainly didn't help the Hokies' cause. However, it pales in comparison to the earlier loss to Pittsburgh (RPI 150+). That's the one that may come back to haunt us if we miss out on hosting.

Regardless, next weekend's series with Notre Dame becomes huge for RPI and potential regional hosting purposes.
