On your players not getting a fair deal
As it seems to be based on every school at every level raking in millions and millions on the backs of players without the players getting anything.
Yet, the vast majority of players go pro in other than playing sports. Most players play for schools that don't make and spend the really big money.
Everything you said speaks to something better for the small minority of athletes that are hot prospects, nationally known and on ESPN a lot.
As far as I am concerned, most of that level player already has "handlers" supposedly looking our for them (but for them$elves first).
I am more concerned about the damage this will do to the guys at a P5 who never start but works his fanny off in practice and in the classroom and leaves with a degree. I am more concerned about players at lower levels playing in smaller gyms that never get seen on ESPN and whose NIL is nil, but to whom that scholarship or even partial scholarship (whether labeled as athletic, need or academic) is the ticket out of bad circumstances.
IMHO we are headed to a very small minority of players getting rich and richer while the vast majority lose out big time.
