Are you sure you don't have him confused with someone else?

1998 came out as the backup starting the Pitt game after AC was injured. VT played the best quarter of offensive football for the entire year. Then he broke his collarbone and was done for the year.

Not much to do backing up MV until again the 2000 Pitt game. He was on a whole different QB level than Al Clark or Grant Noel.
