Entered Tech in 1960, and can recall Don's size and prowess...


on the gridiron. Hokies had other talented football players in that era - Bobby Sweikert, Jake Adams and Gene Breen, who played for Vince Lombardi at Green Bay, come to mind - but the Hokies could have used more with their ability.
Regret being unable to recall Don's wrestling career at Tech...too much attention on surviving the "Rat System" and keeping up with an engineering curriculum.
