I was with Dish for 17 years. Went with Hulu last year. I didn't really

Want to leave Dish. We liked it and it had everything we wanted. But the price was getting way too high. It was still cheaper than Direct because we didn't need things like MASN or an MLB/NFL package or anything like that. I think we had the "Top 250" package which included ACCN and the ESPN's for me, all the shows my wife likes, and Disney Junior for our little one.
I had to drastically upgrade our internet package due to teaching from home and our kids learning at home. So the cost of the two of those was insane. I realized I could get streaming TV for much cheaper than dish... And since I had to upgrade the internet it just made more sense. Now I pay less even with quadrupling my internet speed and adding Disney+ and Netflix.
*That said, Hulu prices keep creeping up.
