Yeah, it's out of whack.


As usual the road to hell is paved with good intentions. The NCAA simply said "this year doesn't count against your eligibility because of Covid." Would it have been better if the NCAA had said "You may choose to opt out this year because of Covid and maintain the same eligibility without the loss of a year but if you choose to compete it will count against your future eligibility."?
