Redshirting in basketball is a very rare thing and usually only happens due to injury. (Or academic)

This team is better off if Cattoor can play on the wing and act as a third PG. I imagine he will start out as the 2nd PG though. But the hope is Pedulla can become that guy later in the season. You also dont want a key rotational PG in 2 years to have zero experience. Pedulla needs to play.
