ELO rule means...


The game would be played to a certain score at that point.

For example...

Lets say Gonzaga plays Bridgewater

Gonzaga is up 85 to 35 with 5 minutes to go...

You would play to a certain score (95? 90?) instead of playing the clock out. If anything it would be BETTER for getting young players work because if you put them in the game they still need to score and defend rather than dribble the clock out, take a shot clock violation and who cares if the other team scores...
