Yeah he can absolutely be a great fit


It was going to take a while and he had way more work to do to be a fit defensively than offensively...this narrative that he needs a free flowing offense is very misguided.

He just had his freshman season in the weirdest time in college sports history. It would be very easy for mistakes to be made by the staff or by Joe himself or no one at all and to arrive at a reasonable conclusion that he would be better off elsewhere.

Its much better to wish the kid well and look for his replacement.
