If you add up all the seeds from yesterday’s wins, the sum is 57. The record high for the sum of seeds for the sweet 16 is 89 (from 1986’s sweet 16).

Even if all the better seeds win today, the sum for this year’s sweet 16 will be 86. So just an upset or 2 away from the wildest, most random sweet 16 ever.
