Won the same # of matches and made it to the same round as Alex Marinelli.


Not sure many would have bet Mekhi would have made it as far as Marinelli did going into the tourney given his known injury status.

We all hoped for the best, but Mekhi showed up pretty much in the same condition as we last saw him.

Difference was he was able to suck it up and hold position to beat 2 NCAA qualifiers.

We now know how tough he is.

Wish him the best in his recovery and hope he can make it back to compete again at the level he is capable of.
