... and those expectations may have been a bit unrealistic because of the seeding heading in. If Mekhi had been healthy, we would have had 4 AAs and Mekhi likely would have been a semi-finalist at least. I'm only counting 5 teams with 4 AAs. So we didn't quite get there and guys lost tough matches.

Lots of teams had some major disappointments, and would be extremely happy with 3 AAs. For example, Jake Woodley prevented Oklahoma from being shut out entirely. Nebraska and Illinois had only 2 AAs. Perennial powerhouse Ohio State ended with 3 AAs and 1 finalist. Again, we were a healthy Mekhi away from a heck of a tournament. As it was, pretty damn good showing, and next year should be even better.
