I underestimated the COVID/layoff impact by a lot. These guys looked tired

against UNC in the second half, and the same thing happened today. The offense completely shut down when guys weren't able to run their sets with the same enthusiasm and intensity as the first half. And on the defensive end we had a lot of lazy rotations that led to dumb fouls, or easy dishes to their big guy (who played out of his mind). Aluma in particular looked completely gassed.

I don't blame the guys at all, but I do blame myself for thinking a team can shake off 6 weeks of rust in time for the biggest game of the season.
