My townhouse used to have a cross box in a neighbors yard that would overheat and at&t had to come out and fix it. Even though I was on the same cross box it did not impact me but it impacted my neighbors. I got lucky. A couple years ago at&t laid fiber in our neighborhood so we all upgraded to ONT terminals in our garages. Our neighbors that have Spectrum are down all the time but at&t has been really good for me.
