On debut album, the majority of what you hear, sans drums and Delp, is..


Tom Scholz. All guitars, all keys, all bass, and his "basement tapes" recordings. Hell for all I know, he recorded the drums himself too.

He did it all. Which is ridiculous, given what it sounds like. They didn't even really have a band, when he made the recordings.

They had to go find the musicians to play it live. Scholtz and Delp on that first album, and maybe some help on drums. That's it.

Remarkable.
