We've used it before. It was ok. Looked the same from a distance. We used


it in some backyard mulch beds that you can see from the Huckleberry Trail and it kept it's color very well. I'd say it keeps color much better than cheap wood mulch. Our HOA pays for re-mulching every year, so they take care of it....and use cheap stuff. Looks great for the summer, by fall it's really faded. I haven't used rubber mulch anywhere that I have flowers, only large shrubs with no problem.
The other time I buy it is for my special needs daughter. She loves playing in dirt and mulch, so we bought some rubber mulch and put it in a kiddie pool for her to play in, and she loves it (and no splinters).
