I don’t know exactly what happened for the Pitt dual


Hillegas not wrestling Matthews looks like a missed opportunity in hindsight though.

Obviously I want all the Hokies we can get heading to nationals yet I am struggling to feel like this omission is overly egregious. At times Hillegas showed potential but he never got over the hump against quality competition so ultimately we’re talking about a resume and results deserving of a 30+ seed if he had made it.
