it’s a revolving door with the pitchers, and also played a few other non weekend starters in the field tonight. It’s good to get the other players more playing time but it can be rather difficult getting into a groove. As noted in posts below, we left a lot of folks on base. We should have won by at least 5 or 6 runs, but to their credit VCU hung in there. And our guys displayed the resilience seen in prior games, and kept plugging away. I remember years when we would have folded early. These guys keep pushing, and a lot are freshmen and second year (Covid) freshmen to boot!
