My cousin started chew when I was 12ish and asked if I wanted to try it

I went and asked my mom if I could, and she laughed and said sure. (Both my parents grew up on tobacco farms).

It was in my mouth .42 seconds before I gagged and it flew out of my mouth. Never put that stuff in my mouth again. My mom said if you spent your summers picking the worms off the back of the leaves, you know better than to put that stuff in your mouth. Which is not generally true, but kudos to mom.
