I keep reading these stories of people finding drugs floating around.


It's not uncommon here - the "square grouper". I wonder 2 things...how many don't make the news?, ha, and what is the SOP when you find that mother load? Are you supposed to radio right away (you are now "in possession" at this point, after all). The news articles never say. I think I would haul it home, and then look around for the proper authorities. And maybe just have a terrible time finding them. These guys found this near Craig Key, which isn't offshore - it's right on Rte 1 and an easy "Hasta la vista, baby".
