Feel your pain. I did the same thing back in May, and it's still not right


Oddly enough, it was "just a flesh wound," but the impact of the blade hitting my finger nail and kicking back my finger was so traumatic, I have scar tissue throughout the finger, restricting mobility. No big deal, but I'm hoping it doesn't affect my ability to grasp a golf club, since it's my right index.

The surgeon told me I was lucky, because normally he has to reattach things when he sees table saw injuries. There were a few stupid things involved, including trying to keep the severity from my wife. Mopping up the blood off the ceiling in the next room was interesting, too.

Not sure about you, but once I shared the story, people started sending me pictures of their injuries or others. Graphic is an understatement.
