Teton is effin' expensive, the dives cost $200, I stayed at the Wyoming Inn just south of Jackson Hole summer off-season rates ~ $300 nice, quiet and also walking distance from a grocery store (Maybe an Albertson's?) to grab stuff for a hike. The place was flawless, easy shot into town and the park further on. Also the Pony Express if you're more interested in a kitchenette. tough getting out of parking lot though if you want to make a left turn into town. Taking the boat across Jenny lake is the usual, hike as far as you want, even walk back around the lake if you're not beat. First day walked around Taggert Lake, level hike, nice, and I might have walked around Leigh lake too. But Jenny lake hike you're walking between Mt peaks pretty cool. Signal Mountain Peak overlook up north grate view for pictures.

I mostly camped out in Yellowstone, surprised how good the restaurant at Monmouth (maybe the Monmouth Inn?) was and nothing like have some Elk grazing a few feet from your tent. OH YEAH, make sure you have every night accounted for in advance this is not a place for bushwackers like me EVERYTHING MAY BE FILLED UP. don't leave anything to chance. More tourist hikes there, it's going to be hard to get away from the madding crowd. maybe out NE to where you can take the beartooth highway would be a little more quiet. (and oh yeah, the beartooth highway!)

If you like driving miles maybe get to Cody and visit the museum there?
