This year specifically, or in general?
In general, I don't know that anything has "happened" to them. Last couple of years, they scored as many or more points in the state tournament finishing 2nd, than they did in some years that they won. On that front, New Kent happened. They're just so deep, and so mature. They play the game the way lots of people used to...their kids are older than most, and they attract kids from a large area through their club. 18 and 19 year old seniors from that room are going to be hard to beat.
This year, C'burg had a little trouble filling out the roster for a variety of reasons, then had 2 season ending injuries to guys that both would have had a lot of success in the state tourney. [Post edited by JoesterVT at 02/22/2021 10:58AM]
