The one caveat there is for doing anything financial on your computer

chromebooks are actually more secure than either a PC or Mac.

I've heard several financial and/or tech gurus recommend getting a Chromebook this is ONLY used for your finances, then a separate Chromebook, PC or Mac for everything else.
