Mexico is fine - been twice during COVID. But now the US requires a ...

negative test within 72 hours of returning home so you need to make sure the resort you are staying at offers free testing (most do now because they need the guests). Otherwise you have to leave the resort to get tested and that would obviously increase your risk of catching the virus ... which is why I think it is kind of a stupid rule.

So with that rule now in place I would recommend SC or FL.
