Fouling at the end of a game


As a long time varsity girls high school coach, I would prefer to foul in a situation where we were ahead by 3 with little time left. However, many coaches do not prefer that strategy. I remember Buzz Williams letting a team get of a 3 point shot rather than foul. In the post game interview, he just felt more comfortable with that strategy, so it is not that unusual.
