So, you're a couple minutes away from the villages at Shirlington

You'll get back on 395 N cross past Route 7 within a mile and you'll already being needing to get into the right lane for the exit (N. Quaker? (not South!!!)) fly back over 395 and you're there. Nice, upscale group of restaurants, I'm assuming that's what you meant by "sit-down" Carlyle's is nice, is open, takes reservation and not too expensive $$. (check it out this is DC afterall) American bistro food. Little area you can walk around. There's a bakery there - maybe you can make it back for breakfast that has awesome - at least they used to be - sticky buns eg, cinnamon, pecans etc + coffeee.

Not talking sports bar here, I'm presuming dinner with the missus at somewhere nice and as I said it might be all of five minutes away, straight shot up 395.

PS Looks like the Copperwood Tavern across the way has tvs for sports.
