Live in Maryland, mine have busted many times. I've even put a little tag.


in my 2nd floor bathroom - where the shutoff is - to remind myself whether it is energized or not. Just bad construction technique where the pipe runs between sheetrock and outside wall and there's insulation but doesn't get much heat from the house and it's a metal pipe which conducts cold well. It takes a good hard freeze though, 32 won't do it but 20 and below will and we're getting those temps in the next couple days.

Your brick wall looks a little more insulated though eg, other side of that wall is closer to indoor temps.
