Daughter just finished basketball practice and was told no more basketball

After this week. No games, no practices. That's it... Season is over.
This is Christiansburg (Montgomery Co) middle school. They started practice at the beginning of December and first games were scheduled for first week of January.... All games kept getting pushed back.
I haven't gotten official word, but this is what the coach told them. Friday is it.... And it also happens to be team picture day. Haha.
