You should call. We had the same situation. Our account was “locked”. The IRS said we should have received a letter, but admitted that they didn’t send a letter due to COVID (go figure).

Before you call, you sure have your 2019 and 2018 returns on hand. They’ll ask questions to verify your identity.

After “unlocking” our account, it still took 8 weeks to see the refund in our account.
