I agree with your last point!!! But football drama will never be over.

The enviable difference between fan bases could not be more obvious. Wrestling fans understand there are good days and bad and we seem to care about individual development and the athletes WAY more than a dual victory or two (we even support wrestlers from other teams). Football fans seem to be in the futile pursuit of some magic potion that 'guarantees' wins and championships. I have news for them - half the teams win and half the teams lose every week and that math will never change no matter how much money you throw at it. We are not Bama, Clemson, ND, or OSU....and likely never will be. Occasionally, we will see it all come together for a really good year or few. Wrestling fans enjoy the journey more and football fans seem to only be able to enjoy the results.
