3 memorable ones. I got a BB gun exactly as depicted in A Christmas Story

I don't have it any more. But the way I got it, just like in the movie, really made me stop and think and appreciate my dad.

The year before that I got a Lionel train set. At the time my dad and I were living in an apartment. Somehow he set the entire thing up even though I was sleeping 10 feet away on the couch in the living area. I got up in the middle of the night to take a whiz and there it was, all set up. I thought for sure Santa must have done it. Truly magical. Still have it, getting ready to set it up for *my* kids tomorrow

The last one was my first radio controlled car, again at the apartment with dad. I got a stomach bug though and spent Christmas morning throwing up and driving my R/C car up and down the hall from the bathroom. That thing was worn out in 2 years so that is a "no" on the "still have it" test
