I’m a labor lawyer (in house now), but in my private practice days had some


commercial laundry clients. The UNITE Union would basically try to destroy their business until the company agreed to recognize them as the employees’ collective bargaining representative - without an election - because what the employees wanted was irrelevant to UNITE. Hopefully you were far enough away from the major cities to avoid that mess.
